FloraPro Grow B 1-2-4 and the Potassium Side of Veg
Veg is a potassium problem more than a phosphorus one. Grow B runs 1-2-4, twice as much potash as phosphate, because that is the ratio a plant in rapid expansion actually pulls. Potassium drives turgor and stomatal control, and a crop stacking nodes under strong light burns through it faster than anything except water. Alongside it sit 1% water-soluble magnesium and 1% combined sulfur, which covers the secondary nutrients without a separate Epsom bag. Nitrogen stays at 1%, split 0.85% nitrate to 0.15% ammoniacal, since the nitrogen for veg comes off the A side. Rates are lighter than bloom. Propagation week one runs 7 mL/gal. Vegetative weeks one through three step up to 12 mL/gal, and the program tops out near 18 mL/gal when conditions call for it.
Feeding a Two-Part Vegetative Base Through an Injector
Grow B pairs with Grow A at a strict 1:1, and the two never share a tank. Grow A carries the calcium, the nitrogen and the micros; this side carries phosphate, potash, magnesium and sulfur. Put the concentrates together and they drop out as solids that will find your emitters within a week. Both sides run clean through Dosatron and Netafim panels, which is most of why the program exists in liquid form at all. When you make up stock, fill to about 70% volume first, get the agitator going, then add slowly and top off. Plan to use made-up stock inside two weeks. It comes in 6 and 55 gallon only, no tote, so a big veg room ordering by the drum is the ceiling here. At 9.38 lb/gal, a full 55 weighs 516 lb of product before you count the drum.
