FloraPro PK+ 0-4-6 Climbs as the Bloom Base Comes Down
PK+ is the mirror image of the Bloom base, and the feed chart makes that obvious. Bloom A and B step down through flower, 14 to 13 to 8 to 4 mL/gal. PK+ goes the other way: 2 mL/gal in early flower, 4 at mid, 5 in late, and 7 mL/gal at finish. By week nine it is the largest single input in the tank. That crossover is the whole idea. Phosphorus, potassium and sulfur keep arriving while nitrogen walks down, so the plant gets the signal to stop building and start filling. The analysis is 0-4-6 with 1% combined sulfur and no nitrogen whatsoever. That is what lets you raise it late without undoing the taper you spent eight weeks setting up.
A Zero-Nitrogen Bloom Supplement With Two Ingredients
Read the derived-from line and there are exactly two entries: monopotassium phosphate and potassium sulfate. Nothing else. That matters more than it sounds. Plenty of bulking products lean on chloride salts to force a fade, and chloride accumulates in a recirculating system in a way sulfate does not. Both salts are highly soluble, so PK+ runs through drip and fertigation panels without the settling you get from heavier bloom boosters. It is not tied to the FloraPro base either. It layers onto FloraPro Powders or another brand's line just as readily. That makes it a reasonable first trial if you are curious about the program but not ready to change base nutrients. At 9.51 lb/gal a full 55 carries 523 lb.
Key Features
- Zero Nitrogen: 0-4-6 with no N at all, so late-flower rates can climb without interrupting a nitrogen taper.
- Ascending Rate Ladder: 2 mL/gal in early flower up to 7 mL/gal at finish, the inverse of how the Bloom base steps down.
- Two-Ingredient Formula: Monopotassium phosphate and potassium sulfate only, with no chloride salts in the derived-from list.
- 1% Combined Sulfur: Sulfur arrives alongside the P and K rather than needing a separate input late in the cycle.
- Drip and Fertigation Ready: Both salts are highly soluble and run clean through injectors and emitters.
- Program Agnostic: Layers onto FloraPro Liquid, FloraPro Powders or a competing base line.
