How General Hydroponics Pro pH Keeps Recipes Clean

Every mineral pH adjuster leaves something behind in the tank. Standard pH Down is usually phosphoric acid and standard pH Up is usually potassium hydroxide. Each correction nudges your phosphorus or potassium a little higher. In a hobby reservoir that drift barely registers. Because nothing mineral goes in, the feed chart you built is the feed chart the plants actually get. That consistency is the whole point of switching. The right amount depends on the alkalinity of your source water. Run a jar test on a known volume before you set an injector ratio. For a single tent or a couple of hobby reservoirs, the retail quart of standard pH Up or Down is the saner choice. Store containers sealed and out of direct sun, with Up and Down kept apart so nobody grabs the wrong one.
