Read the 22mm Before Anything Else on a Gorilla Grow Tent Gear Board
That number is the pole diameter, not the board thickness, and it is the whole compatibility rule. Gorilla builds frames in more than one gauge, so a board cut for 22mm poles will not clamp a 19mm or 16mm frame. Measure a pole before ordering. This one fits the Original Gorilla line. It does not fit Gorilla Shorty tents, and it does not work with the 2 ft extension poles.
What It Holds and Where It Sits Among Grow Tent Accessories
The board snaps onto the existing frame rather than bolting through anything. Nothing gets drilled, and it comes off as easily as it went on. What goes up there is whatever is taking floor space right now. A large oscillating fan, an environmental controller, a CO2 monitor, a bank of timers. Getting that gear off the floor does more than tidy the room. Floor clutter blocks the low air movement that keeps the underside of the canopy dry. A meter sitting on the ground also reads the coldest, dampest air in the tent rather than the air the plants are actually living in. The board weighs 10 lbs on its own, before anything gets set on it. Mount it to poles that are properly seated and fully engaged at the corners. Among grow tent accessories this is one of the few that changes airflow and readings rather than only convenience. The 1 ft height extension poles come in the box.
