The Locust was designed to process large volumes of plant material. The Locust is a continual processing environment that includes a grinder to reduce the size of the plant material and a conveyor to carry the plant material from the grinder to three ultrasonic vibrating screens that generate and grade the high quality kief that is produced.
At the end of the process the ultrasonic vibrating screens deposit the graded kief into the protective bags used by Grasshopper Protector; ready to be vacuum sealed in an atmosphere of pure nitrogen.
The Locust can process over 500 pounds of plant material a day with yields of between 15 and 20 percent of high quality kief. Actual yield varies as it is partly determined by the quality of the plant material being processed.
There is no other machine or machines that can handle the volume of plant material that the Locust can handle. It takes waste and produces profits.
The Locust Extractor comes with three ultrasonic vibrating screens in 160, 100 and 74 micron grades. However, a purchaser of the Locust can specify different size screens.
The Grasshopper Locust Extractor consists of:
- 240 volt single phase grinder
- stand for grinder
- conveyor pipe to convey ground trim to inlet of U trough screw conveyor
- 240 volt single phase U trough screw conveyor
- 240 volt three phase vibrating motor for vibrating screens
- phase convertor to convert single phase power supply to three phase
- one ultrasonic 100 micron screen with frame, viewing port and clamp ring
- one ultrasonic 74 micron screen with frame, viewing port and clamp ring
- one ultrasonic 50 micron screen with frame, viewing port and clamp ring
- three transducers
- three 120 volt ultrasonic sources and electrical stand for ultrasonic source, 3 phase convertor, and electrical wiring.

The fabrication of the Grasshopper Locust does not begin before an order is placed. To place an order a $25,000 deposit and a completed purchase agreement is required. Fabrication takes approximately 45 days from the date an order is placed and shipment to the purchaser's place of business takes approximately an additional 30 days. Time delays may occur for reasons beyond the control of Enovators LLC. Final payment is due when the purchaser receives notice that the Grasshopper Locust is ready to be shipped. The fabrication of a Grasshopper Locust occurs in the order in which reservations and deposits are received.
