What the Automated Grinding System Includes, Machine by Machine
Rise-N-Grind arrives as two separate GreenBroz machines working together as one line. The Model G does the grinding and destemming, and the Rise Conveyor feeds it. The Model G is the expensive half. It is rated to 100 lbs an hour and measures 50 in long by 36 in wide by 53 in tall with its control box, at 300 lbs. The conveyor adds 200 lbs and stands 63 in tall, which takes the combined line to 500 lbs and a footprint 82 in long. Three grind screens come with it, at 1/8 in, 5/32 in and 3/16 in, and GreenBroz will cut other sizes on request. The build list runs 316 surgical stainless, 304 food grade stainless, 6061-T6 aluminium, HDPE and polyurethane. All of it is washdown ready. The warranty is three years.
Why a Metered Feed Conveyor Changes the Grind, Not Just the Labour
Hand feeding a grinder is where consistency goes. An operator tips in a double handful, the drum loads up, and the particle size wanders with the load. The conveyor exists to stop that. Its hopper holds roughly 15 pounds and the belt moves material forward at 5 lbs a minute in continuous flow. The grinder then sees a steady stream rather than slugs. That is the real argument for the pair over the grinder alone. The second argument is downstream. A line that feeds itself can hand off to a sorter or a pre-roll machine without an operator standing between the two. Control is through an HMI touch screen for speed and direction, with a foot pedal available as an option. Power is modest for a machine of this size. The draw is 110V at 60 Hz pulling 3 A, or 220V at 50 Hz pulling 1.5 A, at 330 W either way. An emergency stop is fitted. GreenBroz describe the line as GMP compliant.
Key Features
- Two machines, one line: The Model G grinder plus the Rise Conveyor that feeds it.
- 100 lbs an hour at the grinder: The rate for the Model G at the heart of the line.
- 15 lbs hopper on the conveyor: Which means an operator is not standing there feeding it.
- Metered at 5 lbs a minute: A steady stream, which is what holds particle size even.
- Three screens included: At 1/8 in, 5/32 in and 3/16 in, with custom sizes on request.
- HMI touch screen control: Speed and direction, with an optional foot pedal as well.
- 330 W on 110V or 220V: Drawing 3 A or 1.5 A, so the power side is undemanding.
- Three year warranty: Covering the line.
