Good results on a GreenBroz trimmer start in the drying room. Hang-dry until the outer leaves are crispy and the stems snap. Leave the inside of the flower spongy to hold weight, freshness and terpenes. Cut flowers close to the stem and sort them so similar sizes run together. A well-prepared run averages about ten minutes, with dense flower finishing faster than airy flower. If a run passes a quarter of an hour, the outer leaves are probably too moist and need more drying. The machine can take flower all the way or leave it partly trimmed for hand finishing. Hit the emergency stop on the conveyor whenever hands need to reach the belt. To clean, blow out the chamber, then pull the blades and barrel. Scrape the blades on a flat surface with alcohol and a metal scraper, since a warped blade trims poorly. The blades are never sharpened and rarely need replacing, so a spare set makes strain changes quick.
