Inside the Gro1 1 Gallon Extraction Bags Set

This set holds five bags sized to line a 1 gallon container. The mesh ratings are 220, 160, 120, 73 and 25 micron. The 220 bag is the work bag that holds the plant material during the wash. The four finer screens beneath it split the resin into separate grades as the water drains. Five grades cover the main working range in a short, easy stack. The bags are reusable, so one set can handle many small washes. Gro1 developed its screen series through professional testing. The set ships at about 1.5 lb. It carries a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects. At this scale, a strain can be tested without committing a whole harvest.

Getting Good Results From 1 Gallon Bubble Bags

Small 1 gallon bubble bags are ideal for learning ice water extraction or sampling one strain before a bigger wash. Nest the bags in a 1 gallon container with the 25 at the bottom and the 220 on top. Add frozen material, crushed ice and very cold water, leaving room to stir. Stir gently with a spoon or paddle for a few minutes so the plant matter stays intact. Lift the 220 bag and let it drain, then raise each finer bag in turn. Scrape each grade onto parchment and pat out the excess water. Break the resin up finely and spread it in a thin layer to dry. A cool, shaded space near 35% humidity dries it evenly over one to two weeks. Damp patches can grow mould, so check the drying tray often. Rinse the bags in cold water after use and let them air dry before storage. Handled with care, a small set like this teaches a lot about each strain's resin.
