GrowFlux Wireless Mesh Hub for Lighting and Sensor Networks

The GrowFlux Access Point is the wireless mesh hub that bridges GrowFlux-equipped fixtures and sensors to the GrowFlux cloud apps. It runs on the AetherMesh Sub-GHz 6LoWPAN protocol. It hardwires to the network over a 5 ft Ethernet cable. Wall power comes from a NEMA 1-15 plug. One Access Point connects up to 200 GrowFlux Mesh devices at ranges up to 500 ft indoors. AES128 encryption protects the wireless link, and a CR2032 backup battery keeps the internal clock running through power and Internet outages. Setup pairs through a phone app over Bluetooth.

Growers typically place the Access Point in a central utility closet where the Ethernet drop sits, then let AetherMesh blanket the room. The 500 ft indoor range covers most flower rooms without repeaters. Mesh routing fills any dead spots between fixtures. HLG ships GrowFlux radios in their commercial fixtures. That makes the Access Point the missing link for HLG-equipped rooms. The CR2032 battery only keeps the clock alive across outages. It does not run the radio, which still needs wall power.
