Reading Acidity with the Growlink Batch TankLINK pH Sensor
The Growlink Batch TankLINK pH Sensor reads nutrient solution acidity inside a batch tank or reservoir in real time. The probe covers the full 0–14 pH range at ±0.02 pH accuracy with 0.01 pH resolution. A 10-foot cable runs from the sensor to the Batch TankLINK controller. The cable terminates on a BNC connector that pushes onto the controller port. A quarter-turn clockwise locks it in place. Inside the typical hydroponic feed window of 5.5–6.5 pH, that accuracy is tight enough to confirm a fresh batch lands inside spec on the first mix.
Calibrating and Maintaining the TankLINK pH Probe
Calibration is a two-point process with pH 7.00 and pH 4.01 buffer solutions. The TankLINK LCD wizard walks the probe through each buffer in turn and locks the cal at a stable voltage. Run cal at the start of each batch or whenever the reading drifts past ±0.05 pH between known mixes. The pH probe ships in a storage cap of pH 4 buffer and potassium chloride. The membrane needs to stay wet between runs. A dry membrane is the fastest way to kill a pH probe early. Keep the storage cap on whenever the sensor sits out of solution. Position this TankLINK pH probe near the recirculation return so the read reflects what the canopy actually drinks. Plug-and-play wiring keeps a single-probe swap during teardown under a minute.
