GrowoniX 2.5 x 20 in Pleated Sediment Filter for EX400-T, EX800-T, and SlimScrub
This pleated cartridge is the sediment stage that ships standard in the GrowoniX EX400-T, EX800-T, and SlimScrub, catching the dirt, silt, and particulates that would otherwise clog your carbon stage and foul the RO membrane. The pleated design packs far more surface area than a standard spun filter, giving it high dirt-holding capacity and very low pressure drop so flow stays strong as the cartridge loads. It's built from 100% pure polypropylene polyester that resists bacteria and chemicals for a long service life.
Washable, Reusable Replacement Filter for High-Flow Systems
Because the pleats are washable, you can rinse the cartridge and put it back in service instead of replacing it every cycle, which adds up over a season of feedings. It's made with FDA CFR 21-approved material and meets NSF Standards 42, 61, and 372, so it's cleared for drinking-water duty as well as RO pre-filtration. Run it as the lead stage in your 2.5 x 20 in housing; rinse it when flow starts to drop and replace it once the pleats no longer come clean.
