The GrowoniX KDF85 catalytic carbon filter packs a heavy-duty bed of Premium KDF85/Catalytic Carbon into a 4.5" x 20" cartridge. It reduces or removes chlorine, chloramine, iron, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals, scale, and bacteria. The KDF media drops 99% of free chlorine, 90% of iron, and 98% of soluble lead and mercury. It is NSF certified for drinking water. One cartridge lasts a long time.

Rated for 34,000 total gallons of chlorine or chloramine removal, this cartridge fits the bigger GrowoniX systems. That works out to 17,000 gallons of RO water at a 1:1 ratio. It drops into the EX600-T, EX1000-T, and XL Scrubber as a direct replacement. Bacteriostatic media holds back microorganism growth in the housing. Swap it as throughput nears the rating.
