GrowoniX DI Resin Cartridge for Near-Zero PPM RO Water

Reverse osmosis gets you most of the way to clean water, but a membrane alone usually leaves a few PPM of dissolved solids behind. This mixed bed deionization resin cartridge is the polishing stage that finishes the job, swapping out the remaining ions until the meter reads at or near 0 PPM. It runs as the final filter after the RO membrane, sized at 2.5" x 20" to fit GrowoniX standard-housing systems and other 20-inch DI stages.

Where Mixed Bed Deionization Earns Its Keep

Growers reach for a DI stage when source water is rough or the application leaves no room for stray ions—coco and recirculating systems where you want full control of the feed, plus aquarium and lab use where ultra-pure water is the baseline. Plumb it inline after the membrane and run it at normal line pressure; check output with a TDS meter and plan a swap once the resin loads up, since a clear housing lets you eyeball the resin without breaking the line. This 2.5" x 20" size is the factory deionization stage for the EX400-T, EX800-T, and Slim Scrubber, rated for water from 40°F to 140°F at a 10-micron rating.
