GrowoniX EX1000-T Reverse Osmosis System with KDF
The GrowoniX EX1000-T is a tall-build 1000 GPD (42 GPH) reverse osmosis system on a polyamide thin-film composite membrane. It holds 97% nominal salt rejection at a true 1:1 ratio. The tall design runs 4.5" x 20" prefilter cartridges for long service intervals. Feed water runs 40-80 psi and 40-113°F through a brass garden-hose swivel inlet, with 3/8" RO tube for permeate and waste.
KDF85 Carbon and Tall 4520 Filtration for Chloramine and Metals
The KDF version pairs KDF85 and catalytic carbon (CF-4520-KDF) with a spun sediment prefilter (SF-4520-SP) to clear chloramine, iron, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals, and scale. The tall carbon carries 34,000 gallons of capacity before a change. A membrane flush valve extends membrane life, and chlorine tolerance stays under 0.1 ppm, so the carbon stage guards the membrane. Flush the KDF stage at startup, and add a booster pump if feed pressure runs low.
Key Features
- 1000 GPD / 42 GPH: High-flow output at 97% nominal salt rejection.
- True 1:1 Low-Waste Ratio: Equal water to reservoir and drain.
- Tall 4.5" x 20" Prefilters: Larger cartridges stretch service intervals.
- KDF85 + Catalytic Carbon: 34,000-gallon capacity for chloramine and metals.
- Polyamide TFC Membrane: GXM-1000-HF with a membrane flush valve.
- Booster-Pump Ready: BP-6010 or BP-6010-CH upgrade for low feed pressure.
