Growonix EX400 Reverse Osmosis System for 400 GPD
The Growonix EX400 produces 400 GPD of near-zero-ppm water and flows about 17 gallons per hour at a 2:1 ratio. It is built with dual o-ring fittings and a steel pressure gauge, so you can read system pressure at a glance. A manual flush valve lets you purge salts off the membrane. Flush it for 3 to 5 minutes after each use, and the membrane lasts much longer. Recovery runs at 33% and can be dialed back for lower-quality feed water.
Standard Green Coconut Carbon, KDF85 Upgrade Ready
This base unit ships with the standard green coconut carbon filter, an NSF61-listed block that handles chlorine removal. It carries 8,000 gallons of capacity, or 3,000 gallons of RO water at a 2:1 ratio. On chloramine city water or well water with iron and hydrogen sulfide, step up to the KDF85 carbon filter instead. Want more output in winter or on low pressure? Add a BP-1530 booster pump to reach 80 PSI and push up to 450 GPD. Higher TDS or colder water will lower production.
