The Growonix EX400-T Tall produces 400 GPD of near-zero-ppm water and flows 17 gallons per hour at a 2:1 ratio. Its tall pre-filters carry twice the sediment and carbon media of a standard EX400, for 16,000 gallons of capacity. That means longer runs between filter changes. It is built with dual o-ring fittings and a steel pressure gauge. A manual flush valve purges salts off the membrane; flush it for 3 to 5 minutes after each use. Recovery runs at 33% and can be dialed back for lower-quality feed water.

Standard Green Coconut Carbon, KDF85 Upgrade Ready

This unit ships with the standard green coconut carbon filter, an NSF61-listed media that handles chlorine removal. The tall housing carries 16,000 gallons of capacity, so changes come around less often. On chloramine city water or well water with iron and hydrogen sulfide, step up to the KDF85 carbon filter instead. Running cold or low on pressure? Add a BP-1530-38 booster pump to raise system pressure to 80 PSI. Higher TDS or colder water will lower production.
