GrowoniX GX400 High Flow RO System with KDF
The GrowoniX GX400 is a 400 GPD (17 GPH) high-flow reverse osmosis system on polyamide thin-film composite membranes. It holds 96% nominal salt rejection at a 2:1 ratio, normal for smaller high-flow units. It takes a 3/8" RO quick-connect feed and puts out 1/4" RO tube for permeate and waste. Feed water runs 40-80 psi and 40-113°F.
KDF85 Carbon for Chloramine and Heavy Metals
The KDF version adds KDF85 and catalytic carbon (CF-2510-KDF) on top of the sediment and coconut carbon stages, clearing chloramine, iron, hydrogen sulfide, and heavy metals as well as chlorine. That upgrade is the difference between easy city water and problem well water. A membrane flush valve extends membrane life, and a BP-1530 booster pump is an optional upgrade for low feed pressure. Flush the KDF stage at startup before you run to your reservoir.
