The GrowoniX Mini Scrub dechlorinator pushes 1 GPM, about 60 gallons an hour, through an upgraded KDF85/Catalytic Carbon filter. That media pulls chlorine, chloramine, iron, sulfur, heavy metals, and scale from your feed water. The KDF85/CAT is bacteriostatic too, holding back microorganism growth inside the housing. Chloramine needs this filter. Standard carbon will not touch it.
KDF85 Catalytic Carbon Built for Chloramine Removal
Rated for 8,000 gallons of chlorine or chloramine removal, the KDF85 carbon outlasts basic dechlorinators by a wide margin. The 3/8" QC ports let you drop it inline on a feed line or ahead of an RO system without tools. A 5-micron sediment stage knocks down 90% of particulate first. Protect the beneficial microbes in your media. Chlorine kills them off.
