GrowoniX UV-1 Quartz Sleeve (1 GPM)
This GrowoniX UV-1 quartz sleeve is the clear high-purity quartz tube that houses the UV-C lamp in the 1 GPM sterilizer. It keeps the lamp dry while passing 254 nm UV-C through to the water. Sized for the compact UV-1 chamber, it is the barrier between electricity and flow. A clouded or scaled sleeve blocks UV output, so it is a wear part worth stocking.
Keeping the 1 GPM UV Sterilizer at Full Output
Clean the sleeve every few months and replace it when scale or haze will not wipe away. Handle it with soft gloves, since fingerprints bake on and cut UV transmission. Set the O-ring about 12 mm from the sleeve edge so the chamber seals dry. Pair a clean sleeve with a yearly lamp change to keep the 99.9% kill.
