GrowoniX UV-12 Quartz Sleeve (12 GPM)
This GrowoniX UV-12 quartz sleeve is the clear high-purity quartz tube that houses the UV-C lamp inside the 12 GPM sterilizer. It separates the lamp from the water while passing 254 nm UV-C through to treat the flow. At 35.8" x 0.6", it is the long sleeve sized for the high-flow UV-12 chamber. A clouded or scaled sleeve blocks UV, so it is a wear part you keep on hand.
Keeping the 12 GPM UV Sterilizer at Full Output
Wipe the sleeve every few months and replace it when scale or clouding will not clean off. Handle it with soft gloves, since fingerprints and skin oils bake onto the glass and cut UV transmission. Seat the O-rings so the chamber seals dry around the sleeve. Pair a fresh sleeve with a yearly lamp change to hold the 99.9% kill.
