GrowoniX Pleated Sediment Filter for High-Flow Systems

The 4510 pleated filter is the 4.5 x 9.75 in cartridge for high-flow GrowoniX systems. It catches dirt, sand, silt, and rust before they reach your carbon stage. The pleated design folds the media into a wide surface area. That holds more debris and runs at very low pressure drop for high-flow setups. It is made from 100% polypropylene polyester with FDA CFR 21 approved material and meets NSF standards 42, 61, and 372. The media is bacteria and chemical resistant, rated at 10 micron with a 16,000-gallon capacity. It comes standard in most GrowoniX systems.

Here is the part growers like. When flow drops, pull the cartridge and rinse it with a garden hose, then drop it back in. That stretches the time between changes and trims your filter spend. Replace it once the pleats stay discolored or flow no longer recovers. As the first stage ahead of carbon and the RO membrane, it shields both from particulate.
