GrowoniX UV-6 6 GPM UV Water Sterilizer
The GrowoniX UV-6 is a 6 GPM inline UV water sterilizer that destroys 99.9% of micro-organisms at a higher flow than the UV-1 and UV-2. Its UV-C lamp emits at 254 nm to scramble microbial DNA so pathogens cannot reproduce. The stainless steel chamber runs on 120 VAC with 1/2" quick-connect fittings. A 19-28W ballast drives the larger lamp, rated for about 8,000 hours.

Run the UV-6 after RO or sediment filtration on systems moving up to 6 GPM, like larger reservoirs and mid-size rooms. Clear water is the requirement, since UV-C cannot reach microbes hiding behind sediment. It kills beneficials along with pathogens, so re-dose bennies downstream of the chamber. Change the lamp yearly and clean the quartz sleeve every few months. The kit ships with the chamber, lamp, quartz sleeve, ballast, and 1/2" fittings.
