This 2.5-gallon ready-to-mix dry concentrate carries 14.5% nitrate-only nitrogen and 19% calcium for cell wall structure across veg and flowering. The same 15 mL/gal dose runs from start to finish — no veg-to-bloom switch on this part of the recipe. Pair with HGV Growth at 30 mL/gal during veg, then swap to HGV Flowering at 30 mL/gal during bloom, keeping the Base unchanged.
Calcium and Nitrogen Base Formula for Two-Part Feeding
As a calcium and nitrogen formula, this Base supplies cell-wall calcium and nitrate nitrogen in fully water-soluble form. No ammoniacal or urea forms drive salt buildup. Keep the Base concentrate in its own jug — calcium and phosphate precipitate in concentrated contact with Growth or Flower. Add it to the reservoir last, then check pH (5.6–5.8 hydro, 6.0–6.2 soil).
