This fixture draws up to 715W and dims down from there with the onboard knob or an RJ controller. It is rated at 2,056 µmol/s, an efficacy of 2.88 µmol/J. Light comes from 4 Diablo quantum boards carrying a plant-centric white spectrum with added deep red. Each board sits in an integrated reflector. The reflectors push more photons down into the lower canopy instead of letting them spill sideways. The dimmable driver accepts 120–277V at 50–60 Hz, so it runs on household or commercial circuits. The frame measures 37.5 x 27.13 x 3.75 in and weighs 20.25 lb, with hanging hardware included. Cooling is passive, and there are no fans to fail. It carries UL 8800, CSA and DLC listings, which helps with utility rebate paperwork. HLG backs it with a 5-year warranty.

Running a 5x5 LED Grow Light Through Flower

A 5x5 led grow light at this output replaces a 1000W HPS in most tents and small rooms. The flowering footprint is 5 x 5 ft with the light 15 to 24 inches above the tops. For veg, raise it to 36 inches and it spreads across 6 x 6 ft. Start near half power for young plants and bring it up slowly over the first two weeks of flower. Watch the top colas for bleaching, which means the light is too close or too strong. The reflectors help the outer plants in a square tent, where corners often fall behind. Under LED, leaf temperature runs cooler than under HPS, so many growers raise the room a few degrees. Check pot weight before watering, because plants often drink less after the switch. For app control, HLG also makes a GrowFlux module version that needs a separate access point. A 3x3 or 4x4 tent is better matched to a smaller HLG fixture.
