HLG Tomahawk 720 Output, Bars and Build
This version of the fixture pairs a 720W, five-bar light with a GrowFlux wireless module. Current listings rate output at 2,161 µmol/s, or 2.87 µmol/J. Some earlier listings show 1,980 µmol/s at 2.8 µmol/J. The diodes combine full-spectrum white with deep red for veg and flower on one light. Integrated reflectors around each bar lift canopy PPFD and soften hot spots. The driver accepts 120–277V and mounts remotely to keep its heat out of the tent. The frame measures 40.75 x 40 x 2.5 in and weighs 20 lb. Cooling is passive through an open layout that lets air pass between the bars. From the app you can dim, set schedules and tie output to a PAR sensor. Every light in a room ramps together, which is hard to match by turning knobs. Pair the lights in the app before hanging them, while they are easy to reach. Start dimmed for young plants and raise output after the flip in small steps. Watch the tops for bleaching and pull back a few percent if you see it. Growers moving from HPS often raise room temperature a few degrees, since LED puts less heat on the leaf. The spectrum has no UV or far-red channel, so add those separately if you want them. For one tent with the light always within reach, the RJ manual version does the same job for less.
