Most growers meet the EVO4 when a 3x3 tent needs more efficient light than a basic panel gives. It runs 896 diodes, and AC Infinity publishes the exact mix. There are 360 Samsung LM301H EVO at 3000K, 500 at 5000K, 28 OSRAM 660 nm, 4 OSRAM 730 nm and 4 Seoul 395 nm. That is a cooler, bluer white balance than the smaller EVO3, which keeps veg growth tight. Efficacy is 3.14 µmol/J, and the manufacturer lists 1,819 PPFD for the fixture. Input is 100–277V at 3.0A, a light load on any standard circuit. Running a 300W LED Grow Light in a 3x3 Tent
A 300W LED grow light is about the right load for a 3x3, where more watts mostly means more heat to exhaust. AC Infinity's manual says to hang the frame at least a foot above the tops. From there, run forty percent for seedlings, eighty in veg and full power in flower. Heat stays modest, which helps when a tent sits in a warm closet or garage. The bundled schedule controller covers on and off times, a clock mode and sunrise-sunset ramps. Growers comparing it with the IONBOARD S33 usually notice two differences. The EVO4 converts power more efficiently and adds a trace of UV, while the S33 is a single flat board. Neither has a published coverage map, so check the corners with a meter if you own one. The small UV channel will not replace a dedicated UV bar late in flower. For a single 3x3 run from clone to harvest, it is an efficient light that stays out of the way.
