The Integra Boost Kerr Jar Kit Keeps the Pack Off the Contents
One kit is a jar, a pod and three packs, and this case holds four of them. The jar is a quart Kerr wide-mouth in clear glass with a two-piece band and disc closure. Integra rates it at up to 1.5 oz of dry product. The pod nests in the jar neck and holds the packet above the contents. That is the part separating this from a jar with a packet thrown in. Three 4 g 62% RH Boost packs come with each kit, covering up to 12 g apiece on a salt-free plant-based fill. Twelve packs across four kits, and the pods and packs are stocked separately for later.
Humidity Control Jar Kits for Curing, and Where They Stop
Two limits are worth naming before this becomes a storage system. The glass is clear and not light-tight, so anything going into a long hold belongs in a dark cupboard or a steel container instead. UV works on stored material regardless of what the humidity is doing. The second is arithmetic. A 4 g pack covers 12 g and the jar is rated for 1.5 oz, so a full jar holds more than one pack serves. Two in the pod is the honest answer at full fill. What the kit does well is the everyday jar, opened several times a week, where the pod keeps the packet clean and off the contents. Four at once suits a retailer, or anyone setting up several jars in one go. Replacement pods and packs are sold on their own, so the case is a starting point rather than a recurring purchase.
Key Features
- Quart Kerr Wide-Mouth Jar: A standard two-piece band-and-disc closure rather than a proprietary lid.
- Nesting Pod Holder: Sits in the jar neck and lifts the pack clear, so it never rests on the contents.
- Pod Separate From the Packs: The holder and the packs are stocked apart, and replacement packs are sold on their own.
- Three 4g 62% RH Packs Included: Each pack is rated for up to 12 g and carries its own indicator card.
- Holds Up To 1.5 oz: Integra's rating for the jar, which is a generous personal or small-batch volume.
- 62% RH Two-Way Control: Adds moisture to a jar that has dried down and pulls it back after the lid is off.
- Wide Mouth Access: Filling and emptying without funneling, and the pod only fits wide-mouth jars.
- 100% Salt-Free Packs: Plant-based glycerin and water, so no salt crystals settle onto the contents.
- Four Kits Per Master Case: Twelve Boost packs across four complete jar setups.
- FDA Compliant, Food Grade Inks: The packs are cleared to sit in direct contact with what is stored.

How Many Packs Go in the Jar at Once?
The pod holds one. A 4 g pack is rated for 12 g and the jar holds up to 1.5 oz. A full jar therefore exceeds what a single pack covers.
Why Do Three Packs Ship With Each Jar?
Integra does not publish a reason. At two to four months of use per pack, three of them cover most of a year of swaps.
Does the Jar Block Light?
No. It is clear glass, so a dark cabinet or drawer is the right home. An opaque steel container is the option if light exposure is the concern.
Does This Work With a Regular-Mouth Jar?
No. The pod is sized to nest in a wide-mouth neck, which is why the kit ships with the wide-mouth jar it fits.
