The Kessil Gooseneck is a 24 in malleable arm on a clamp base that grips a tank rim or a bench edge. Kessil list it for the A360X and A360XE families, the A160WE Tuna Blue and Tuna Sun, and the H160 Tuna Flora. The arm bends and stays where it is left, so height above the plant becomes a thumbscrew adjustment.

Where the Kessil Gooseneck Actually Fits

Compatibility is the thing to settle first, because this arm does not take every Kessil head. The maker lists the A360X and A360XE families, the A160WE in Tuna Blue and Tuna Sun, and the H160 Tuna Flora. That last one is the horticultural fixture, which is why the arm belongs on a growing site at all. The A80 and the A150 are not on that list. The malleable section measures about 24 in laid out straight. It bends and stays bent, which is the whole argument for a gooseneck over a fixed bracket. The base clamps onto a tank rim or the edge of a bench. Everything needed arrives in the box. That means the gooseneck itself, the base, a plastic stepper, two plastic screws, two thumb screws and an A3XX bracket.

Using a Flexible Mounting Arm Over One Plant

One arm carries one head, and that shapes what it is good for. A single specimen, a propagation bench or a small display is where it earns its place. Height comes down to loosening a thumbscrew and bending the neck, rather than re-rigging a hanger and a pair of ratchets. Moving the head sideways is just as quick, which matters when a plant leans toward the light and needs correcting. The honest limit is coverage, because a point source on a stalk is not a canopy solution. A wide bench wants a rail or several fixtures rather than one arm reaching further. Clamp thickness is worth checking against your bench before committing. The flexible section holds its shape but it is not a structural beam, so keep the load to the head it was built for.
