Build and cord on the Lumenmax hood
The body is lightweight all-aluminum on a heavy-duty powder-coated galvanized steel junction box. A 15 ft lamp cord detaches at both the reflector and the ballast, so wiring and service stay simple. Some assembly is required out of the box. One note: it is a non-cooled reflector with no glass or air-cooling flanges, so plan room ventilation around 1000W lamp heat.
