What the LED Camera Photo Filter Fixes
Blurple lamps put out two narrow spikes, deep blue and deep red, with very little in between. A camera has nothing to balance against, so every frame comes back purple and the leaf detail is gone. This filter is German glass, engineered with Carl Zeiss Vision. Notch filtering blocks those two spikes and passes the rest, which hands the sensor something close to a normal spectrum to work with. The glass carries anti-reflective and hydrophobic coatings, so lamp reflections stay off the surface and condensation beads instead of sheeting. It is cast on a base 8 curve, asymmetrically, so the curve does not bend straight lines at the edge of the frame.

The housing is anodized aluminium, sized to drop into a Cokin P holder. The holder is not in the box and neither is the adaptor ring, so check the thread on your lens before you build the stack. Two things worth saying plainly. This is a camera filter and not eyewear, so it does nothing for your eyes on a walkthrough. The Cultivator LED lens is the pair for that job. And it is cut for blurple. A modern white full spectrum LED throws a different cast, and this glass will overcorrect it. Where it pays for itself is documentation. Deficiency photos a consultant can actually read, insurance and compliance records, and listing images. Week by week shots look like the same room each time.
