Wide nursery beds often hold several rows of pots beside one lateral, and the outer rows sit far from the line. This stackable flat MOD, item 40201-008200 and model 014DMS-2436F, has the reach for that layout. Two of its tubes are 24 in and two are 36 in, so the reach is generous. Mounted on a flat 4-way MOD, it brings the total to eight outlets from one dripper. The longer pair can serve an outer row while the shorter pair covers a middle row. Each tube terminates in a standard angle arrow dripper of about 6-3/8 in. When eight outlets share one feed dripper, every pot receives close to 0.25 GPH. Tubing is Netafim Super Flex UV White PE, solid white rather than coated and completely opaque. Algae cannot take hold inside, and the light wall keeps water temperatures down. Each pack contains 25 stackable assemblies.

Setting Each Netafim Arrow Dripper on a Wide Bed

Netafim specifies the 2.0 GPH Woodpecker PC Junior dripper for stacked builds like this one. Pressure compensation from 10 to 45 psi means the pots at the end of a long lateral see the same flow as those at the head. A built-in check valve closes when the zone stops, so the line does not drain onto low-lying pots. Seat the base flat 4-way assembly on the dripper, then stack this manifold on top. Run the longer tubes to the farthest pots and the shorter pair to the nearer ones. Angle each Netafim arrow dripper toward the root ball so water soaks in where roots can use it. Delivery stays at the pot, keeping leaves dry and leaving crop protection sprays undisturbed. Netafim's chart puts 1,600 plants on eight-outlet assemblies at about 7 GPM. Use identical stations through each zone to keep every plant on the same ration. When the crop is finished, the manifolds pull apart and the tubing coils neatly.
