Spreading eight pots around one dripper only works if every tube can reach its pot without stretching. This Netafim stackable flat MOD, item 40201-008400 and model 014DMS-3030F, gives each of its four outlets 30 in of tubing. That long, even reach lets the stacked pots sit at a comfortable distance in every direction. It mounts on a flat 4-way MOD so the pair of manifolds feeds eight containers from one emitter. Every tube ends in a standard angle arrow dripper of roughly 6-3/8 in, sized for larger pots. Split eight ways, the feed dripper's output comes to about 0.25 GPH per pot. Netafim calculates that each 10 GPM of supply can water up to 2,000 pots at that rate. The tubing is Super Flex UV White PE, white through its full thickness and completely opaque. That wall blocks the light algae need and helps keep water cool on sunny benches. A pack holds 25 stackable assemblies.

Running a Multi Outlet Drip System on Wide Pot Spacing

Each station starts with one Woodpecker PC Junior dripper, and Netafim specifies the 2.0 GPH size for stacked builds. Install the flat 4-way assembly on the dripper first, then stack this manifold on top. The dripper compensates from 10 to 45 psi, so a multi outlet drip system holds even delivery across long laterals and slopes. Its check valve shuts as the zone stops, preventing drainage onto the lowest pots. Fan the four long tubes out evenly so each pot sits at the same distance from the manifold. Angle each arrow into the media toward the root ball. Water goes only into the container, leaving foliage dry and pesticide residues on the leaves. A zone of 2,000 plants on eight-outlet stations draws about 8 GPM, according to Netafim's chart. Keep the same configuration across every station in a zone so each plant gets an equal share. The manifolds separate at season's end, and the tubing rolls up without tangling for storage.
