Netafim CoolNet Pro Fogger With Orange Pin Check Valve

Cooling a greenhouse or holding high humidity over a propagation bench depends on droplets fine enough to evaporate before they land. This Netafim assembly, item 63100-058502 and model 0303420HL-B, pairs a CoolNet Pro head with its own check valve. The head is the cross configuration, carrying four nozzles, and the assembly is rated at 8.1 GPH at 60 psi. Netafim gives CoolNet Pro an average droplet size of 65 microns at about 58 psi (4.0 bar). Its bridgeless design means no drips fall on plants below. The orange-pin check valve opens at 58 psi and closes at 26 psi, so heads stay sealed until the line reaches high pressure. With anti-drain valves at each head, Netafim says all emitters start and stop together and the pipe does not drain. Parts are made from acid-resistant (AA) materials, so suitable acid treatments can be used to clean the system. Components are interchangeable, and flushing for maintenance is straightforward. Netafim assembles this build on request, and it comes 25 to a bag.

Running a Greenhouse Fogger Head at High Pressure

Netafim lists CoolNet Pro for cooling, humidifying and irrigating over rooting tables. Its recommended pressure range runs from about 44 to 73 psi (3.0 to 5.0 bar). With this valve, the pump must deliver more than its opening pressure at every head before any nozzle fires. Check the pressure at the far end of the line, where friction losses leave the least. Netafim recommends connecting each head with super-soft PE micro-tube, a stabilizer and an anti-drain valve. Hang the heads level above the crop so the mist spreads evenly across the bench. Filter the water to 130 microns, which equals 120 mesh. Where sand exceeds 2 ppm, Netafim calls for a hydrocyclone ahead of the main filter. Run short pulses and watch how quickly the fog clears to judge humidity and cooling. Flush the laterals periodically to keep the fine nozzle orifices clear.

Key Features

  • Four-nozzle cross head: CoolNet Pro super-fine mister in the cross configuration.
  • 8.1 GPH at 60 psi: Rated flow for the assembled head.
  • Orange-pin check valve: Opens at 58 psi, closes at 26 psi; prevents drainage and drips.
  • 65 micron droplets: Average droplet size at 4.0 bar, per Netafim.
  • Acid resistant: AA materials tolerate acid cleaning treatments.
  • Bag of 25: Assembled by Netafim on request.
