Netafim Bases for Hanging Misters, 30 in Tube, 25 Pack
A longer drop lets the supply pipe ride high in the structure while the head sits at working height over the crop. This bag contains 25 bases, Netafim item 63000-006460 and model 0300HSAC-30-B, each with 30 in of tubing. The tube is Super Flex UV White polyethylene in the 4/7 mm size. Its barbed top end pushes into the polyethylene supply pipe. The lower end carries a barb x female connector for the sprinkler, mister or fogger head. A white stabilizer weight keeps the head hanging plumb, even on a long tube. With the head below the pipe, any drip from the pipe stays off the plants. The tube is completely opaque, which stops algae from growing inside. It resists UV, heat, direct sun and harsh chemicals, and the reflective white keeps the water cooler. Parts assemble and come apart by hand, with no tools needed.
Control Head Parts for a 30 Inch Sprinkler Drop System
Every zone of overhead heads runs through a control head built in a fixed order. The valve comes first, then the filter, then the pressure regulator. Size each part to the zone flow, even if the pipe joining them is a different size. An electric 3/4 in globe valve handles up to 26 GPM, and a 1 in globe valve up to 44 GPM. A 3/4 in disc filter at 120 mesh serves up to 12 GPM, and a 1 in disc filter up to 26 GPM. A 35 psi regulator in the 3/4 in size covers 5 to 17.6 GPM. The 1 1/2 in regulator covers 11 to 35 GPM. With line and component losses, a 35 psi regulator typically delivers the desired average pressure at the heads. Fogger zones step up to a 65 psi regulator and a 140 mesh filter. The check valve in each head holds the line full after shutdown for instant on and off.
