Fogging a whole house for humidity or cooling hangs heads high and spreads them across the full floor. This carton, Netafim item 63000-007160 and model 0300HSAC-36, packs 150 hanging bases for that work. Each base suspends its head on 36 in of Super Flex UV White polyethylene tubing, 4/7 mm in size. A barb at the top inserts into the polyethylene supply pipe. The lower end has a barb x female connector that receives the fogger, mister or sprinkler. A white stabilizer weight keeps each head hanging straight under the pipe. Because the heads hang below the pipe, drips from the pipe stay off the crop. The fully opaque tube keeps algae from growing inside. It resists UV, heat, direct sun and harsh chemicals, and the white surface reflects heat to keep the water cooler. Every part fits together by hand, and heads are supplied separately.

Cooling a House With Foggers on a 36 Inch Hanging Tube

For cooling, hang CoolNet Pro foggers 3 to 6 ft high, and higher is generally better. Fogger spacing runs from 3 to 10 ft along a line, with lines 6.5 to 13 ft apart. Keep the fog from spraying against the roof or structure. Adjust the cycle so the fog evaporates without falling as precipitation on the crop. Exhaust fans exchanging the air about 20 times per hour get the most cooling out of the fog. With foggers 5 ft apart on lines 10.5 ft apart, start at a 3 second pulse every 91 seconds. At 10 ft by 10 ft, the starting point is a 10 second pulse every 150 seconds. Crops that tolerate wetting can take a longer pulse or a shorter interval. Fine-tune both to local conditions, since these timings are only a starting point. Run fogger zones through a 65 psi regulator and a 140 mesh filter.
