Netafim Overhead Sprinkler System Bases, 48 in, 150 Pack
High-roofed ranges fitted out end to end call for long drops in large numbers. This carton, Netafim item 63000-008350 and model 0300HSAC-48, holds 150 hanging bases. Each base hangs its head on 48 in of Super Flex UV White polyethylene tubing in the 4/7 mm size. A barb x barb connector at the top inserts into the polyethylene supply pipe. A barb x female connector at the bottom receives the sprinkler, mister or fogger head. The white stabilizer weight on the tube holds the head plumb over the benches. Hanging the heads below the pipe keeps the pipe dry and stops drips onto the plants. Opaque white tubing prevents algae from growing inside the line. It is UV resistant, withstands heat, direct sun and harsh chemicals, and keeps the water cooler. Assembly and disassembly need no tools.
Choosing a Base and Spares for a 48 Inch Hanging Tube Layout
Three base types connect Netafim heads to the supply. This hanging assembly is the base for polyethylene supply pipe. Rigid pipe with 1/2 in threaded connections takes the 1/2 in adapter, model 03206-B, instead. To mount Netafim heads on another manufacturer's fittings, use the retrofit adapter. Every part of this base is also sold on its own as a spare. That includes the barb x barb connector 031748W-B, the barb x female connector 03220W-B and the stabilizer weight 03330C-B. A barb x male connector and a male x male connector are listed in white as well. Where a hanging position should stay dry, a plug replaces the sprinkler or mister head. Heads and bases ship as two parts and are joined by the installer in the greenhouse. Flush every pipe and base before the heads with check valves are attached.
