OG Biowar Foliar Pack: Microbes for Leaves, Stems and Roots

The Foliar Pack is a dry blend of microbes on a pharmaceutical-grade talc carrier. It is meant to colonize leaf and stem surfaces as well as the root zone. OG Biowar puts its job plainly: raise microbial diversity on roots and shoots so plants handle environmental stress better. It is a non-chemical spray or drench, sold for edible crops. For a straight spray, mix 1 teaspoon per liter of distilled or non-chlorinated water and break up every clump until the liquid looks cloudy. Let it sit three to five minutes. The talc sinks while the microbes stay in suspension, so pour or strain the liquid off the top and leave the sediment behind. Soak every leaf, stem and pot surface. OG Biowar is specific about conditions, calling for lights-off spraying with fans and AC shut down for two hours. The pack works best when humidity is high. Seedlings get a stronger 3 teaspoons per liter before planting. For dry use, blend 1 teaspoon per gallon of mix at transplant, so a five-gallon pot takes five teaspoons.

Keeping Beneficial Microbes in the Weekly Routine

Beneficial microbes pay off fastest when they arrive early and keep arriving. OG Biowar recommends applying the Foliar and Root packs weekly, starting as early as possible in the plant's life. Its preferred route is a short Bio Brew in a five-gallon bucket. Four tablespoons each of Root and Foliar Pack go into 4 gallons of non-chlorinated water with 100 mL of unsulphured blackstrap molasses. A stocking of worm castings floats in the bucket while an air stone bubbles it for two to four hours. Strain the brew before it goes near a sprayer, since talc and castings both clog nozzles. Chlorinated tap water kills the culture before it starts, so use dechlorinated or RO water. Rinse the bucket and air stone between batches. Keep your expectations honest here. This is a biological input, and it will not replace a clean room, good airflow or a real IPM program. It can be used right up to harvest, which makes it easy to keep in the weekly rotation.
