Each of the five bars on this fixture snaps onto the frame magnetically, so a damaged bar comes off without pulling the whole light down. The diodes come from Osram and Lumileds, arranged as a full-spectrum mix with a 120° beam angle. PhotonTek rates coverage at 4 x 4 ft for veg and 3.3 x 3.3 ft for flower. The frame spans 39.29 x 35.43 x 2.92 in and weighs 24.25 lbs. The driver accepts 120–277V, which works out to roughly 3.9A on a 120V outlet. Heat load is about 1,706 BTU/h with the driver attached. Hang it high over young plants and let the stepped dimmer carry the early weeks at a quarter or half power. Once flower sets in, bring it down and run it at full, checking the corners with a PAR meter. The included dimmer clicks through off, a quarter, half, three-quarters and full. Room controllers that speak 0–10V, including the PhotonTek Digital Controller, handle smooth ramps and sunrise timing. Mounting the driver on the tent frame outside keeps the canopy a few degrees cooler in summer. One honest limit is the flowering footprint. In a full 4x4 flower tent, the outer edges will read softer than the middle. Growers who want edge-to-edge bloom intensity at that size usually choose the larger X 600W. It is also a wide, heavy frame, so hang it with two people and level it before the first watering.
