What the QuietCool Timer Switch Replaces

This is the part that turns a whole house fan from something you remember to switch off into something that switches itself off. It mounts in a standard wall box in place of an ordinary switch. Running the 8 Hour Timer Switch With Speed Control

On its own this unit gives you one speed and a countdown. Pair it with a speed control switch and you get both. An 8 hour timer switch handles duration while the second switch handles speed. It works alongside control switches IT-30020, IT-30030 and IT-30035, and it sits happily beside them in a double gang box. Running two fans means two timers, set side by side behind a two gang plate. The load rating is 1800 watts, far above any single QuietCool fan. The timer will never be the limit in the circuit. The unit measures 2.1 in by 2.75 in by 1.75 in and carries a 1 year warranty. Wiring instructions ship with the fan rather than with the timer. Most whole house fan installs are a job for an electrician, and this one is no different.
