SNS 244C Fungicide Concentrate Runs on Thyme, Clove and Rosemary Oil
SNS 244C is what growers reach for when the problem is fungal rather than chewing. The actives are thyme oil at 1.20%, clove oil at 0.20% and rosemary oil at 0.05%. The rest is water, cod liver oil, polyglyceryl oleate and soapbark saponin, which keeps it wetting evenly instead of beading off waxy leaves. It's OMRI listed and 25(b) exempt, with a zero-day re-entry and clearance right up to harvest.
Mixing and Timing an OMRI Listed Organic Fungicide
The rate is heavier than most: 16 oz of concentrate per gallon of water. That's a 1:8 dilution, which is why a quart makes two gallons of spray and the drums exist. Use warm water around 70°F, distilled or chlorine free, or the botanicals don't carry as well. Active outbreaks get a pass every two to three days until it's under control, and prevention drops to every 7 to 14. Spray at night or lights-off and wet the infected tissue thoroughly. It runs through a fogger as well as a sprayer, and mixes with SNS 217C when insects show up alongside.
Key Features
- Thyme, Clove and Rosemary Oil: Actives at 1.20%, 0.20% and 0.05% work on fusarium, leaf rust, powdery mildew and black mold.
- OMRI Listed and 25(b) Exempt: Cleared for certified organic production with a zero-day re-entry interval and use through harvest day.
- 16 oz per Gallon, 1:8 Dilution: Heavier than most concentrates, so plan volume by the gallon rather than the ounce.
- Fogger or Sprayer: It runs through both, and mixes with SNS 217C when fungal and insect pressure land in the same week.
- Warm, Chlorine-Free Water: Around 70°F distilled or filtered keeps the botanical extracts in suspension instead of dropping out.
