The Model One system avoids a power cord for every driver. Instead, one feed cord powers the first driver, and short daisy-chain cords carry power and signal down the row. The TDC-2 is the shortest of those cords at 1 ft (30.5 cm). It carries line power and the dimming signal in a single cable, so each driver stays on the controller's schedule. The conductors are 18 AWG, rated to 10A at 100–277V. That short length fits drivers mounted close together on MB-8 and MB-9 bars or tight Unistrut layouts. Choosing the Right Model One Daisy Chain Cord
Measure the gap between driver ports before ordering cords. The TDC-2 fits drivers on the same bar or right next to each other. The 2 ft TDC-3 covers a slightly wider gap, and the 5 ft TDC-4 bridges between fixtures or rows. Every group still starts with a TDC-120, TDC-240 or TDC-277 feed cord at the first driver. Mount drivers in alternating directions so male and female ends meet cleanly. Push each connector in fully until it seats, then check the whole chain before powering up. Stay within the manual's driver-per-feed limit for your supply voltage. That limit ranges from 11 drivers on a 120V feed to 25 on the highest-voltage feed.
