ThinkGrow's EC-277 is the 12 ft (3.66 m) cord that plugs the brand's auto-sensing 100-277V LED fixtures into a NEMA L7-15P locking 277V circuit. Compatible fixtures include Model-I, Model-I Plus, Model-H, Model-H Plus, and Model-V. The L7-15 plug is rated to 15A and twist-locks into its receptacle. That matters more than it sounds. A hung 600W LED on a vibrating ceiling truss eventually shakes a regular straight-blade plug loose.
Why 277V Wiring Pays Off in Multi-Fixture Rooms
On 277V, current per fixture drops by half. A 20A breaker holds two to three times more lights before tripping. Voltage drop across a long ceiling run stays inside the 3% the NEC suggests. The 12 ft length is intentional. Growers typically mount the L7-15R receptacle on the ceiling. The cord drops with enough slack to come out the side of the fixture. No coiled hot wire on top of the heatsink.
