ThinkGrow's ECS-7 is the 12 ft (3.66 m) low-voltage control cable. It bridges a TrolMaster LMA-T lighting adapter to ThinkGrow's Model-I, Model-H, Model-V, and Model-W LED fixtures. RJ12 on the controller side, a 4-pin IP65 threaded waterproof connector on the fixture side. Daisy-chain pass-through at every fixture lets a single controller line sync dim levels across an entire room.
Where the ECS-7 Sits in a TrolMaster Daisy Chain
Standard layout: Hydro-X controller into LMA-T adapter into ECS-7 to first fixture into ECS-7 fixture-to-fixture down the row. Growers typically place the LMA-T near the controller and run the ECS-7 along the same ceiling truss as the power cords. The IP65 fixture connector matters when the room runs evaporative cooling or any supplemental humidity. Water on a non-sealed signal connector eventually corrodes pins and trips intermittent dimming bugs that look like driver failures. Signal cable only, not power.
