ThinkGrow TSD-1 Stands the ICL-300 Up Inside the Canopy
The ICL-300 throws light in a 300-degree pattern, so it works best sitting in the middle of the plants. Hanging it there is awkward once branches fill in. The TSD-1 supports the bar from the floor instead. Each stand has four molded legs that snap into a central mounting bracket. Two aluminum tube sections pass through a screw cap on top of the bracket. Using one tube or both sets the working height, and the screw cap locks it. The collar mounts that ship with the ICL-300 clamp the bar onto the tubes. One ICL-300 needs two stands, so most setups start with a pair. Stands can be shared between neighboring bars, and a row of 12 bars needs only 13 stands. Each pair can hold one or two columns of ICL-300 bars.
Assembling an Inner Canopy LED Stand
Push each leg into the central bracket until all four snap into place. Loosen the screw cap and slide an aluminum tube through it. Add the second tube section if the bar needs to sit higher. Tighten the screw cap once the tube is at the right height. Fasten the ICL-300's collar mounts onto the tubes of two stands. Align the bar's mounting holes with the collars and lock it in place. Check that every nut is tight and the brackets line up with the stand. Push the assembly gently, and tighten any hardware if it moves. To extend a row, add one more stand between each new bar. The box includes four legs, two aluminum tubes, an M38 screw set and a dustproof plug. The ICL-300 tech sheet attached below shows the full stand assembly.
