ThinkGrow Model-H Plus 720W on a Standard 100-277V Circuit

This is the Model-H Plus built for ordinary commercial and residential service, with an auto-sensing 100–277V driver. A separate 347–480V version exists for three-phase buildings, so check the panel before choosing. Eight 5 ft bars plug into one driver and draw 720W. TrolMaster rates output above 2,160 µmol/s, an efficacy better than 3.0 µmol/J. Its tech sheet lists an average of 1,040 µmol/m² at a 6 in hang and 896 at 12 in. The assembled fixture measures 57 x 45.5 x 5.30 in and weighs 43.63 lbs. Amp draw is 6.23A at 120V, 3.09A at 240V and 2.71A at 277V, at a power factor of at least 96%. Plan for roughly 2,457 BTU/h of heat per fixture. The build is IP56 and ETL listed, with an L90 life above 54,000 hours and a 5-year warranty. The kit includes a 12 ft 240V cord and a 16 ft waterproof extension cable.

Tuning a 5x5 LED Grow Light Across Four Channels

The four channels are UV, white, deep red and far red, and each one moves on its own. Most rooms run white and deep red as the working light and add far red late in the day to push flowering response. UV is a finishing tool, usually brought in for the last weeks rather than left on all cycle. The on-board control handles dimming and grouping, but it does not open up the individual channels. Full spectral recipes need a TrolMaster HCS-2 or HCS-3, or a Hydro-X with the LMA-T adapter. Budget for that controller up front, because it is the reason to choose this fixture over a fixed-spectrum bar. In vertical racks, the short minimum hang lets tiers sit close without scorching the tops. On a single-level flower bench, most growers hang it higher and meter the edges. It is a tight fit in a 5x5 tent, with only a couple of inches spare on each side. A room on household-voltage outlets also needs a matching cord, since the kit ships with the higher-voltage one.
