The white channel already carries some UV, which is part of what ThinkGrow means by a sunlight-like spectrum. The second channel is far red, meant for short end-of-day treatments that can speed the flowering response. Without a controller, the bar runs as a plain full-spectrum light and the far red stays idle. Unlocking it takes a TrolMaster Hydro-X and an LMA-T adapter, which links long daisy chains and groups rooms. Budget for that before counting on the far-red feature.
