ThinkGrow MB-9 Builds an 810W Model One Fixture in One Piece
The Model One system is modular: each driver carries one 90-watt LED bar, and you decide how many go together. Mounting every driver separately on Unistrut takes careful measuring to keep the spacing even. The MB-9 does that measuring for you. It holds nine drivers on a single bar, for a total of 810 watts. Driver positions sit about 5.25 in apart, the tightest layout of the four MB bars. That close spacing suits flowering rooms that need high PPFD from each fixture. The bar measures 45.35 in long and 2.21 in wide. It works with both the two-channel TLD-2 and the four-channel TLD-4 drivers. The package contains one MB-9 bar. Hanging a Model One Mounting Bar
There are two ways to install the bar. For direct hanging, attach the provided hangers to the bar and suspend it from the ceiling. For Unistrut, loosely thread two Unistrut nuts onto the bar, slide it into the channel and tighten the nuts. Each driver then twists about 25 degrees to lock onto its position. Alternate the direction of each driver so the male and female power leads meet the right neighbor. TDC daisy-chain cords link driver to driver, and a TDC-120, TDC-240 or TDC-277 cord feeds the group. The Model One manual limits how many drivers one feed cord can carry, from 11 at 120V to 25 at 277V. Once the drivers are power-linked, press each LED bar into its driver until it clicks. For lower-intensity areas, the MB-4, MB-7 and MB-8 bars space fewer drivers farther apart. The Model One system manual attached below covers every step with diagrams.
