ThinkGrow RC-EC-240 Replaces the 240V Main Cord for ThinkGrow LEDs

ThinkGrow fixtures take a detachable main power cord, so a damaged cord does not mean a new light. The RC-EC-240 is the replacement for the 220V/240V version of that cord. It runs 12 ft from the fixture to the outlet. The wall end carries a NEMA 6-15 plug, according to Evolve Garden Supply's listing. That plug fits standard 6-15 receptacles as well as T-slot 6-20 receptacles on the same voltage. In the Model One system, this main cord feeds each group of drivers through a TDC-1 splitter cable. The cord is rated for rooms from 32 to 122°F at up to 90% humidity. Retail listings put the boxed cord at about 5.4 × 6.7 × 2.4 in. It ships at roughly 1.06 lbs. One cord comes in the package.

Swapping in a 240V Grow Light Power Cord

Turn off the circuit and unplug the old cord before touching the fixture. Disconnect the damaged cord from the fixture's power input. Seat the new cord's connector fully and lock it if the connector has a locking collar. Route the cord so it does not hang across hot surfaces, sharp edges or standing water. Confirm the receptacle is on a matching high-voltage circuit before plugging in. Keep the total load on each circuit within its rating when several fixtures share it.
