How the FRC-1 Splits Day and Night Automatically
The photocell is what makes this different from a timer. A timer has to be kept in sync with your lights by hand, while this reads the room and switches between two levels you set. Speed and swing mode both follow. Control is a knob and a small LCD, and the unit runs on 12V at 0.1A through the supplied ECS-9 cable. It weighs 0.86 lbs and measures 6.30 by 3.39 by 3.39 inches.
Running a Group of Fans From One Fan Remote With Photocell
Group control is the practical win. One knob sets the level for every Aero-Fan wired into the chain, so a room stays balanced instead of drifting as people adjust individual units. Swing mode switches from the same place on fans that oscillate. It drives TrolMaster Aero-Fans and nothing else, so a mixed room of third-party fans will not respond to it. Rated conditions are 32°F to 104°F and up to 90 percent relative humidity.
