One Greenhouse Controller for Climate, Light, Water and Vents
Most greenhouses end up with a thermostat here, a timer there and a separate irrigation clock by the door. The TrolMaster GCS-1 pulls all of that onto one wall-mounted screen. It manages climate, CO2, grow lights, irrigation, curtain motors and EC fans through plug-in modules. The included MBS-GH sensor reads indoor temperature, humidity, CO2 and day or night status. Add the MBS-WS weather station and the controller also sees outdoor wind, rain and temperature. Irrigation scales to 96 scheduled outputs across up to eight 24V or 110V control boards. Timers run as single, multiple or recycle schedules, so short cycles and long soaks both fit. Two lighting channels each handle up to 256 fixtures. Climate history, irrigation events and crop data log to the controller and the free TrolMaster app. It runs on 100–240VAC and supplies 3A total to connected modules.
Building a TrolMaster Green-X System Module by Module
Start with the base controller and add only the modules the house actually needs. Sensors plug into the SENSORS port, climate modules into DEVICES, and pumps and valves into IRRIGATION. The sensor bus takes one each of the weather station, quantum PAR sensor, smoke detector, nutrient board and flow meter. It also accepts eight water content sensors and two water detectors. On the device side, the controller runs four temperature stations, four humidity stations and two CO2 stations. Up to four DMC-1 or AMC-1 motor controllers handle roll-up sides and curtains. Four EC fan control adaptors round out the ventilation options. An SPH-1 splitter hub keeps the sensor wiring tidy once a few more sensors are added. The controller mounts on a wall plate and clicks into place, so it can be pulled for service without tools. The retail box measures 10.04 × 5.31 × 3.66 in and weighs 1.72 lbs.
